L'ultima edizione del Barometro Mondiale dei Furti nel Retail, una dettagliata indagine indipendente sul numero e la tipologia di furti commessi all’interno dei punti vendita e della Grande Distribuzione, condotta dal Centre for Retail Research e patrocinata da Checkpoint Systems, ha fatto emergere che il taccheggio, le frodi da parte di dipendenti e fornitori, la criminalità organizzata e gli errori amministrativi hanno rappresentato nel 2011 un costo globale per il settore retail pari a 88,878 miliardi di Euro, equivalente all’ 1,45% delle vendite.

I furti subiti dai supermercati (gdo) da gennaio a novembre sono in aumento del 7,8%, per un controvalore record di 3 miliardi di euro.
